October 2018 One Monthly Goal

It is a new month, and I finished my September OMG, which means I can choose something new to work on.  It was a tough decision as it seems I have too many projects I need/want to work on.  The project I'm setting for my OMG is one I am behind on, and trying to catch up so I believe it deserves more attention than the others to get it where it should be.

My goal is to work on this lovely quilt.  It is a belated wedding gift for some family, and it about time to get it done.  Plus it is my Breakfast Club homework/goal for the semester at my LQS.

What is my goal?  Well it is to get it all cut out.  I have had to go back and buy additional fabric three times for this quilt, actually scrapping my original background as I did not have enough, and the place I originally bought the fabric did not have it anymore.  In addition to getting it cut out, I am going to do step 1-4 within the pattern.  My stretch goal for the month is to get step 5-10 done, which would complete one of two blocks within the pattern.  Even if I get some of the steps done in my stretch goal I will be further along that I was before.

I hope everyone is able to find a goal for the month and is able to accomplish it.
