Friday Progress
Well, I did not finish my June OMG. Instead I will be scrambling this weekend to get it done to deliver the final product on Monday. I did get the pieces cut out. Now I need to sew it together, layer it together, quilt, and bind it. I can do that in a weekend! I better run to start on the sewing it together part.
I'm linking up to Confessions of a Fabric Addict and Crazy Mom Quilts. Come back later this weekend. I plan to create (update with new projects and take off the ONE I finished) my Q3 Finish-It-Along list, and my July OMG. I need to think about them, better put some thought into it while sewing.

Design Wall A Day Late
Monday flew by for me, trying to clean up from the weekend. The two projects I'm working on this week are:
Sweet Tooth - I was able to get Blocks 9 and 10 cut out, I just need to sew them together for my LQS's Breakfast Club this weekend. It is going to be started on tonight, and I will finish at the latest Friday night.
Wedding Table Runner - I was able to cut out all of the pieces including the binding last week, now I just need to sew the top and bottom together, which is my goal for this week.
I think my small goals for each project is doable. At least all of the cleaning I needed to do last week got done. Next big thing is to clean out the bathroom closet and organize it, which should not be too hard, as I am an organizing master!

Design Wall for the Week
This week the items I will be working on are a little lighter than previous, as I have to do some serious house cleaning. It is not my favorite thing to do, but I do have a reward system for myself. So once I get the dreaded cleaning done, I get to sew!
I will be making progress on my Sweet Tooth blocks, but cutting out a few more and hopefully some setting triangles.
The second thing I plan to work on is my One Monthly Goal, which is a lovely table runner from these fabrics. This week I plan to cut out the pieces and then start to piece the top and back together. I would love to get both completed, but I will not get ahead of myself too much.
I am excited to see what everyone else is working on. I am linking up to Small Quilts and Doll Quilts, Main Crush Mondays at Cooking Up Quilts and Monday Makings at Love Laugh Quilt.

June OMG
I was able to accomplish my May OMG and make progress on a wedding quilt. This month I am switching gears and going back to something I should have gotten done months ago. My goal this month is to cut, put together the top, layer, quilt and bind this table runner idea I have for a belated wedding gift for a co-worker. I think I can get it done, I just need to focus this month.
Of course I would also like to keep making progress on my Sweet Tooth Quilt, but that will be small compared to this table runner.
Here is to another successful month! Linking up with Elm Street Quilts for her OMG post.

Slow Stitching Sunday
This week I am remembering to sit down and relax with some stitching, I wish I could all day, but alas some chores wait for me. This week I am working on making progress on this beautiful baby blanket for a co-worker. It is progressing, but I need to remember to stitch on it during the week as it needs to be gifted soon. Maybe that should be one of my goals this week?
I just love the detail on it.
I am linking up to Kathy's Quilts and I'm excited to see what others are slowing down to work on this week.

Progress is Better Than None!
This last week I have gotten a few small things on each item I am currently trying to make progress on.
First thing I am working on is Sweet Tooth by Jaybird Quilts. I was able to cut out approx. 16 blocks in the last week, however I still need to cut out 12 more blocks plus the setting triangles for the blocks I have not put together (there are 12 per block), and the charcoal and black pieces for the quilt top. I will get them all cut out eventually baby steps.
Second item I am working on is a wedding quilt. I was able to finish cutting it out on Wednesday, sneaking in a finish for my May One Monthly Goal. Below are all of the parts that need to be initially cut. Now it is time to sit and sew everything together.
Over the beautiful Memorial Day weekend we went out to Palm Dessert and stayed at a timeshare within the family. The area was beautifully maintained, and we enjoyed our stay. Below is the entrance leading you into an oasis, and the view of the golf course from our room. It was relaxing.
I received these pretties this week from Beanpop Fabrics. They are slated for an upcoming quilt that I can not wait to make progress on soon, but first I need to finish a few other projects.
Linking up with Confessions of a Fabric Addict, and Crazy Mom Quilts. I hope to see you there!
